Koan; Sure, it is starting at the local level. Hong Kong! Hong Kong is NOT China Can't be communist and capitalist, those are two different economic systems. Yes, but you said that China was creeping towards a democracy - and so that indicates a political rather than an economic point of view. Democracy suggest you get a vote in determining all sorts of things. In China opposition parties are outlawed - hardly the seeds for democracy. Steve
