Too soon for this kind of conjecture but I read an article this week that said given Obama's inate likeability factor combined with an improving economy, he should win in 2012 when put up against the current crop of GOP candidates.

My early money would be on that. I just think that the Republican field is absurdly bad... But I might have said that in other years when Republicans have won.


I am relying more on Obama's popularity. I have learned what I consider to be a good candidate and what Rs consider to be a good candidate very rarely looks the same.
