In a nutshell this is the story all across the land....

The AVERAGE Los Angeles Department of Water and Power employee costs the city agency just a hair under $150K per year. Likewise, the AVERAGE federal employee costs the government $100K per year. Basically, where ever you look in government the employee unions have managed to keep up with inflation and maintain the standard of living that the rest of the nations workforce has lost.
