Canada has a single armed services group - Canadian Forces. To their credit they have faught big time in Afghanistan

getting rid of the Marines wouldn't be a stretch.

The Marines have a bigger constituency than NASA. I think it would take longer to get rid of them than Obama will be president.

And besides, they are cheaper than everybody else.

And kill more bad guys, SF excepted.
