Carl, Larry, Arik & other interested folks --

Turns out, I had entered about 10,000 data elements on the S&P 500
companies as of June 30. At that time, according to Zack's, the five
year projected growth rate had a median of 12.1 and an average of 12.7.

Arik's "off-the-top" 7.7 is interesting. Value Line has the projected
appreciation of the stocks in their universe over the next three to
five years is 35%. If we split the difference (four years) and assume
that the stock appreciation mirrors growth rates over time, the growth
rate is about 7.7.

Using the formula, fair value of the S&P is:

7.7;668 -- 12.1;914 -- 12.7;948

Comments Anyone?
