"When we legalize pot, and we will, the gangs will just up the Cocaine part of the trade." Which is why I believe it should all be legalized. Just as they like their corrupt culture, we like our 'let's pretend' culture (on the one hand) and our 'Scarlet Letter' culture (going back to the original colonies, the Constitution notwithstanding). Like all co-dependent relationships this works well in that our mental illnesses compliment each other. It wouldn't exist if it wasn't satisfying a need for both sides. Drug abuse is a medical problem, as we readily acknowledge for those of us who have insurance and the money to pay a lawyer. ARS
