Another example of CBO analysis.

The analysis for the stimulus showed it saved jobs. But it did so by assuming a greater than one multiplier effect, and that this additional GDP would result in more jobs. I'm sure they where very good at calculating all the numbers and filling in all the details once you make those assumptions, but once you make those assumptions, you are destined to come to the conclusion that the stimulus caused higher employment. If you assume higher federal spending increases employment, than this example of higher federal spending increases employment. What a shock...
