"Tripled is Meaningless"???? NO, NOT after you RUN on how IMPORTANT that debt is. Your stuff about moving from 10 Trillion to 11 Trillion would NEVER have come up if not for the "Borrow and Spend" of the Reagan years... We would NEVER have been in this position if Reagan hadn't gone for the EASY way out of "cutting taxes" without EVER "cutting spending". EVERYBODY seems to LOVE cutting taxes while also GROWING government. How could you NOT????? If ANYBODY ever had a chance to run SURPLUSES it was Reagan. Yet he just THREW money away like a drunken guy in Vegas. Reagan was the WORST President of the last 100 years and we are STILL paying for his incompetence.
