MarkS, you really know how to lose more of your credibility don't you! My pricing example was in response to a post who questioned pricing pressures in the mainstream market, because insurance was paying 70%. But you conviently left that out didn't you. The reason, I feel VVUS will lose the mainstream is because of costs, and ease of use. Thus all my pricing examples are valid. Get it yet, or do you have a learning disability?

I have also said numerous times, that if the remaining niche, grows faster than the market share loss, VVUS would be okay, but that I don't think this is how it will play out.

There is nothing VOO DOO about this, except your fascination with me, and your failure to come up with a solid and detailed bull argument, and POST it on this thread for all to examine, as I have with my short position. Is it a lack of courage, or knowledge on your part, that you fail to do this?

I have also posted, that apparently Viagra can cause erections in men who have never had them for several years,(one definition of Chronic, per DB,) as this is how Viagra was discovered in treating heart patients, and I will post more definitive information as I receive it. I have also asked you and DB, how big is this market? To date you have not answered.

You are also incorrect and misleading with your comment, " the "niche" consists of all chronic impotent men who can't be helped by Viagra.)" This simply is not accurate or factual. You need to do more homework, read posts more carefully, and think before you ramble, ahh, type. I'll see if you can discover your errors in this statement. (But I really don't care.)

I will though mail you a Voo Doo doll of myself so you can feel better about yourself by sticking pins in it. Just post your address.

Good Sticking, LF

Mark,: " Now let's discuss a small point of Leo Logic--".
Stop right there.

The reason there has been so much hype and hot air in this thread, especially since my abscenc, gg, when I was trying to keep some kind of scientific decor, gg ) is that the ISSUE here has more to do with SCIENCE than LOGIC. You CANNoT arrive at the correct logical conclusions, unless you have the CORRECT scientific conclusions.
Which is what Leo unfortunately lacks. He does not understand how the erectile process functions and what role vetious drugs play in this process. Leo's infantile approach( and unfortunately so far, all the media ) is to LUMP all ED in ONE BASKET ans treat it in ONE WAY,with ONE DRUG, in this case VIAGRA.
Unfortunately that is NOT the reality.
ED is a COMPLEX process, with MULTIPLE pathways , most poorly understood. The best treatment for the next > 10 years will be a multistep approach that impinges on all these pathways.

The other thing that people don't understand is that Viagra is mostly for psychogenic, or , mild organic ED where there is SOME RESIDUAL
HEALTHY tissue left. IT will NOT work in COMPLETE ED. Muse instead
was tested ONLY in COMPLETE ED although it works in BOTH complete and psychogenic ED.There is a tremendous amount of patients in both fields
psychogenic and organic, although the biggest is organic, 10-20 million at least, in the USA alone.

Insurance companies will pay for whatever drug(s) are deemed best. There is no Insurance now that excludes any drug to my knowledge, except for Medicaid.9 Insurance that has a drug coverage rider that is ).

Psychogenic Ed should not be treated with drugs however. If a patient gets an adverse drug reaction tha lawyer will want to know from the Doc a) what tests did he do to prove the diagnosis b) if this is psychogenic why didn't the patient get psychotherapy/sexual counseling first.
