Tell you what, when one of my friends bought ASND at 54 about six months ago, I told him that over the next year or so, he is either going to make miniscule profits (if he's lucky) or, what is more likely, he is going to make big losses. But he and his other friends all looked at me as if I am the Unabomber -- anti-technology and what not! They all told me to go buy the steel companies. And that is exactly what I did! Bought NUE @ 47 -- a very fine example of what Peter Lynch calls "a great company in a lousy industry". I hope somebody has learnt a lesson somewhere... ;-)
