Traditionally in Asia the family name came first followed by the given name.

Before that only the nobility had family names.

Ted, Taro already explained how the surname comes first before the given name in Asia.

Hence, "Jung Sura" was a literal translation. But looking back, I should have just said "Sura Jung." I prefer figurative translation over literal, because the most important part is to convey the point, not force the peculiarities of a foreign culture upon others.
