"Rigorous studies demonstrate that most adolescents who initially experience same-sex attraction, or are sexually confused, no longer experience such attractions by age 25," the letter to schools said. "In one study, as many as 26 percent of 12-year-olds reported being uncertain of their sexual orientation, yet only 2-3 percent of adults actually identify themselves as homosexual."

Glad to hear that Pediatricians are speaking up. Well meaning ignorant stupid ideologues can cause a lot of harm to youngsters.

"Ideology Trumps Childrens’ Well-Being for Right-Wing “American College of Pediatricians”

a so called “advocacy” group that has a name quite similar to the actually reputable American Academy of Pediatrics — recently sent a letter to every school superintendent in the U.S. making the case that LGBT children and youth can, and should change.

Every link to that letter is a RW Christian web site....trash.
