Unalakleet – You left out a link in your chain of reasoning. Simply, after the financier closed the mortgage he sold it 40+ times. Was that one of those “the mailman made me do it” moments? Then, when the financier’s leverage caught up with him, who was compelled to bail him out?,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,why it was the mailman, the mailman’s children, the mailman’s grandchildren, et al. The poor guy was suckered twice, once in the beginning and once at the end.

You tell me who deserves more or less disdain.
