Gary may be correct. If the shorts are looking for a good opportunity to exit their position, now is probably as good as it will get. I am a bit concerned that there may be some tax-related selling in December, but if I were selling short, I don't think I would count on it. I certainly wouldn't wait for the earnings announcement in January, considering what happened last January.

gary our problem is the short spirits. look how many spirits are left on this thread, we are turning into a ghost town.

or what we need is not short spirits but something much stronger (be right back have to check on the potato distillary). i still see apm climbing higher as we end the year and would not be surprised if we approach the high 20's and may flirt with 30. mgmt is strong (even bringing in outsiders), product in both new and old (sub 1k pc's need the old), and even if mgmt does not talk to the street, earnings have now been set to a realistic and doable level.

i do not think we will move up better than 1/4 to a point on good days, we still have to many people wanting to bail, excluding this thread ofcourse, those spirits have left.
