Iran A Step Closer In Having A Nuclear Bomb

Written by Reza Kahlili on April 9th, 2010

Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, today unveiled new “third-generation” centrifuges that its nuclear chief says can enrich uranium six times faster than that of the first generation.

This new technology will shorten the time to enrich uranium for a nuclear bomb. The estimates are that Iran is producing approximately 2.77 Kg of LEU per day, giving the Iranians the capability to stockpile sufficient weapon-grade uranium to produce a nuclear bomb within a couple of months.

The Iranians are moving full speed ahead with their nuclear enrichment process, building other enrichment facilities deep in mountains, and making progress with their ballistic missile delivery, which currently covers part of Europe and all U.S. bases in the Middle East.

This is while the U.S. administration is pushing forward with some kind of sanctions, which would be acceptable by others, specifically, Russia and China.

We have tried sanctions for 30 years and the result is what we are facing today: The ruling Islamic fanatics in Iran inching closer to obtaining nuclear bombs.

We need to act now!

We need to wake up and realize that the consequences of the mullahs in Iran obtaining nuclear bombs will be unimaginable to say the least. Not only will it destabilize the region, it will affect the entire world for decades to come!

It wouldn't be bad if they made an example of these Berkeley students. Might teach the radical Left something...

Three American Hikers Jailed in Iran Accused of Espionage

I doubt they were spying, but what the hell were these three 20-something chuckleheads doing hiking in the Iran/Iraq border area anyway?

I feel sorry for the hikers, but what the heck did they expect, hiking in a foreign country that is hostile to Americans?

Three American Hikers Jailed in Iran Accused of Espionage

The last time Iran took American prisoners it cost Carter the presidency.

Maybe we can get that lucky again.
