Ira: Yes, I did mean "long term investor" when I referred to "guys and gals." Now I fully understand where you are coming from. You are a "trader"; I am primarily a "long term investor."

I have had good success picking the bottom primarily because I use a disciplined incremental buy program. If I miss the bottom, time is my friend so long as my analysis has been sound. As a trader, time is your enemy to a large extent.

Like I said: different strokes. Thanks for sharing your approach.

Ira and others. I am severely over-weighted in the equipment makers and looking at short term puts as an inexpensive hedge for any more sudden downturns. What I like about the puts is that it gives me more cash to spend as the market goes lower. Anyway, I am looking at ASMLF as an opportunity for large drops with a market or sector correction. But the premiums are high. Can anyone suggest a better candidate?

Thanks,
