She's got Obama scared SHITLESS. I was astonished to hear this sitting president attack Palin. Just astonished. I can think of no precedent, whatsoever for this amateurish political ploy. I'm at the NOLA Hilton tonight where all these speeches are being given (not as a delegate, here on vacation). BUt I was talking w/ some delegate as they came out and they were PUMPED after the Palin speech. The key thing one has to remember is that Palin however weak she is, is far stronger than Obama was four years ago. The Ds are going to be stupid to try to go after her like Obama did today. She'll chew them up and spit them out IMO. With Obama it is acting. With her it is instinct.

"A city manager to run Wasilla" This is a huge one. How many towns of 5k-10k have a city manager and a full time mayor? In Galveston, which started the whole mayor/city manager style(some interesting politics surrounded that one), is a much larger city and the mayor is only part time. I know. And even then she screwed things up and proved to be incompetent. I really don't know how she gets away with this crap. She left Wasilla in debt, moves on to the governor's office where she quits after a year and half. Runs for VP where she manages to stir up a hornet's nest among the GOP staff and accuses the now sitting prez of being a terrorist. She 'writes' a book and while on tour, leaves people in the cold when she tires of signing and drives off. She still can't talk intelligently and her tv show has had a less than stellar start. And yet, the b*tch is revered among a certain element of this country's population. I just don't get it.....and has she never heard of contacts?
