You could be very right. It is possible that not much would have resulted from letting a good chunk of Wall Street go bankrupt. Several people that I respect have made this argument. Now, if things get bad again (and they certainly could), we might get a chance to see what happens if several large financial institutions go bankrupt. Because next time the money might not be there to bail them out. After all, we've used up at least five bullets in our six shooter trying to mitigate the last disaster. We've only got one left as near as I can tell. Which is why I'm in all cash right now.
