Sorry -- the lies are you own. Police and military receive more per year served and retire at a younger age. They are the exception. -- as I already noted -- but the AVERAGE State work would need to work forty or more years to get to 90%. Admit it -- they earned the money by agreeing to take lower pay in the short term, deferred their compensation, invested cash in their pensions and now collect them exactly as they should.
