I have seen the show several times throughout the years. I think Paula actually bothered me with her constant emotional acting out. The show will fail when Simon leaves. He is the one everyone respects. Randy as well. Without those two guys the show has no real professional appeal.

Paula was kinda cute, but she never had much of a career. One hit song that was so over produced nearly any female could have been the vocal track. She was a good cheerleader for LA basketball and a fine backup dancer. Most of the kids on the show have more talent in their pinkies than Paula had in her entire body.

What is Paula qualified to do now? Guest on Hollywood Squares?
Having Paula judge talent is kinda like having Ozzie Osborne judge elocution.

Geeze, that looks like a pretty damned critical post. I suppose I object to the idea that Paula made the show a success. Simon invented these shows. When he leaves a lot of people may stop watching.

I heard he is planning another show with inventions. I can see that having keen interest and keep the gong show element for the beginning stages.
