No, you are the hypocrite. You still don't get it. Oil independence doesn't me zero usage of oil and gas. But it does mean 75% less usage. If we get the US consumption down from 20 mbpd to 5 mbpd, then we are oil independent. Then our foreign policy can be bent towards all the other worthwhile goals out there and we never have to give a shit about any of those oil dictatorships again. We can let Saudi Arabia collapse. We don't have to give two shits about Venezuela.

And it's shockingly easy to do. The $1 trillion we spent on war in Iraq and Afghanistan in the last decade would have been all the money we needed to get there.

The moves I'll make in the next several years to replace my cars with the Volt and the Leaf of Focus EVs will reduce my oil and gas consumption by 95%. That's far more than the 75% reduction on average that we need in this country.

You clearly aren't willing to do your part, because you are an ally of the terrorists. You want to continue funding the terrorists, even as you drive your Hummer. Scratch that, you talk a big game about your oil consumption values, and yet, you don't own a Hummer. If you really lived your values, you'd use alot more oil. Just shows you what a hypocrite you are.
