The Left wants to allow government to manage it because it is what they (the Left) does. But the reality is that every person in the country could be getting great care for the same money.

No doubt about it. There are many ways to improve healthcare, including access - with only minimal and targeted government involvement. But.... there is no power or money for politicians in stepping out of the way.
