Fantasy? Other than a few politicans running for office for fame or vanity, do you really think the vast majority of the 'public servants' are over qualified? I always pay my bills in person in the city hall. Year after year, I keep seeing the same old faces working at a snail pace with ridiculously rude manners. Why is that? If public sector offer such a lousy compensation, why don't they quit and go work for the private sector? If serving the 'public' is such an honor for them, why can't be a little friendlier?
