Your comment about a position of neutrality has to be tongue in cheek, because he has shown enemies a lot more courtesy than allies. No, not tongue in cheek. I think Obama thinks he is redressing the imbalance whereby America used to treat its allies better than its enemies. The way leftists figure it, enemies are enemies because of past mistreatment by America. America is the only actor; all others merely react. I know it's hard to believe anything could think in such a childish way, but leftists really do. I've spent too many hours arguing with them to doubt it. It all stems from multi-culturalism and forcing everything to fit into a framework imposed by racism, colonialism, orientalism, etc, all variations on white guilt.
