That must be a cheap way of having 4 eyes. One eye each side of their heads then move them up and down to get two images for each side to give depth of field on both sides.

With some overlap at the front, they get 3D at the front, 3D at the sides, albeit with some delay while their head bobs, plus some rear view to see who is chasing.

People do much much better. We have now millions of eyes keeping an eye on the world's financial system to see what the heck is going on. Those umpty million eyes feed into cyberspace to give a multiviewpoint perspective on what's going on.

Only a couple of decades ago, there were just a few news sources with real-time access to information and 100 years ago it was every man for himself with weeks for limited information to flow from country to country.

Now, any of us can upload information to cyberspace and in seconds it's flashing around the world at the speed of light in giant weblooms.
