Paul...Pardon me if this question has already been asked or if it seems too trivial to those far more knowlegeable about INTC than I.
Would you say that the current expected (if only temporary) flattening in EPS, which I presume is the result of pricing pressures that were unexpected as to timing or magnitude, is more the result of:
a) poor execution by INTC in terms of getting to the next level of performance/cost, or
b) good execution by a competitor in beating INTC to market at a given performance/cost level, or
c) irrational actions by a competitor that cut into margins for some period of time (ie. the old "your business is only as good as your dumbest competitor allows it to be"), or
d) other explanations?

I only get to play INTC occasionally, most recently for about a year after the pentium bug todoo, but smell an opportunity coming up. Thanks. -JLF
