Really? Then why did Bush Jr give $15B to Africa to help with AIDS? Seems to me like he was using my money to secure his own legacy. Irrelevant, unless your arguing the standard for proper Christianity is doing what Bush did. He's another one of those Americans who think it's ok to help everyone else with American tax dollars, but gets pissed off whenever it's suggested we help Americans with our own tax dollars. The tax dollars that go to social programs for Americans dwarf foreign add dollars.

AIDS is a communicable disease .... just like malaria, smallpox, etc. The fewer people in the world with these, the less likely Americans are to get them. It would be great if we could wipe all such diseases out ... as I believe we've done with smallpox.

I don't get this. Barack Obama blows -- literally BLOWS -- a trillion dollars his first month in office. And you're down with it. He doesn't save lives. He pays off unions, hands out 92 months of free money for the unemployed, squanders money on useless projects -- with no accountability -- and all is okay. But GWB saves 2 million Africans with $15 Billion -- less than 2% of the Obama squander, and you're bitching about it?
