what test or preventative procedure is not covered???

I don't see any point in engaging this topic. No one here can answer the question. There is no source readily available to the public that identifies all the codes and the conditions under which they are paid.

The only other way we could identify what is not covered is by experience--if we as a group needed something done and found out the hard way that it was not covered. I've already identified those that I found out that way in my own experience--vitamin D and lipid testing. John Carragher wrote at length on this thread about shingles vaccinations. My father, who died of prostate cancer, couldn't get hormone treatments for it under Medicare. I know that it doesn't provide anything dental. And, of course, it doesn't pay for routine physicals.

That's all I know and that's all I have any way to identify. But if there are those, there are more.
