Back to my original point... 50% pay nothing. That has to change IMO.

You cannot remain a child forever .. Even when the Dems pander their base with the pay no tax and health care for all caveat.

As for a higher rate being foolish, look back at tax rates during the 20th century. For long stretches they were above that rate.

With almost no one actually paying that rate, since the rates only kicked in at above even what most very wealthy people made, and since people facing that high of rate have all sorts of incentives to work around them in any way possible.

This the US data base.....maybe someone wants to reduce the number of cancer deaths in this country using a method advocated by you and Tim......simply don't count them.

Would you give me your sense of the means testing of Medicare Part B? With it, someone with $85K in total, not taxable, but total income this year pays nearly twice the premium of everyone with less income. Any thoughts?

Poll: 66% Say America Is Overtaxed

Rasmussen: Eighty-one percent (81%) of Republicans believe the nation is overtaxed. So do 73% of voters not affiliated with either major party. Democrats are evenly divided on the question.
