Well, sure, if IBM can do it. That's the whole point of R&D = figuring out how to do things better and cheaper, preferably by big amounts, and putting the bite on high-priced competitors who might have been enjoying big profits.

Grass clippings still seem to be a pretty cheap solar energy collector, perfected for a billion years. Chlorophyll is a cheap organic molecule, made by self-replicating DNA molecules, from the free CO2 in the air. That's even cheaper than the zinc, copper, tin etc you mentioned.

The damn stuff just takes over. Right now I have about 300 kg of it crowding me out, needing chain saw, axe and removal.
