So i presume no one here was worried when sending your big
checks off to datek (or any other online broker)
to open an on-line account.
Will they be around years from now. I guess it doesn't matter
if they are SIPC insured, correct?

Does Datek allow you to trade Bulletin Board stocks?
What stocks/markets doesn't Datek allow you to trade?

Basically Datek trades only Nasdaq, NYSE, and AMEX. No BB stocks, no mutual funds, no bonds, etc. Options are promised for the next year.
