You'd need to flesh it out more for me, on the surface it doesn't sound fair to tax the basics at the same rate for wildly different income levels.

How about 0% for all under a million... Consumption tax for all, then 15% on top of that for the mega earners.

I think this country would go bankrupt in a few months. In fact I doubt you could balance the budget if you taxed all of the earners over one million 100%.
