If China is going to take Taiwan, they only have the rest of the Obama presidency to do it, knowing he won't respond.

I never said China can do no wrong. I think they are doing plenty wrong including currency manipulation, which the GOP never did much about, but Obama is doing a full court press on. Plus, their intransigence on Iran, which Obama is also doing something about.

You are right about the GOP can do no right. They haven't been able to do anything right since Bush Sr and Gingrich were in power. That was the last time that the GOP was worth a damn.

As far as partisanship, this country has always had partisanship. Get used to it. There's no magic bullet to solve that one. The best we can hope for is a vigorous debate on the ideas without vilifying the opponent. Even that is too much to hope for nowadays. All the GOP does nowadays is vilify the Dems, because the GOP doesn't have any good ideas left.

When you leaders are Palin, Bachmann, Beck, Limbaugh, and Steele, all you get are the vitriolic imbecilities that a Confederacy of Dunces produces. Welcome to your GOP. They certainly aren't mine anymore.
