I just finished up a conversation with my Merrill broker who explained to the top man at the office the situation at hand. (sorry for the pun). The result...If your client bought shares through our firm then he/she has every right to the certificate if they want it. Everyone speak to your brokers and get the name of person at the office that can handle this. Compose your letter and send it off certified mail.
