It was a trip to exchange posts with Dennis Richey and the others. It was easy, at least for me, to see where that sort of access was going to be a big thing. It is annoying to have these people, who weren't even there, tell me how it really was...

I remember when Mr Cookieman became CEO at IBM after Akers left...i was sitting in an auditorium in Boca and someone from the audience asked him what he thought of the net...he was flummoxed...he replied with a "what is it"?...not in the sense that he didn't know what it was, but that he had no idea of the incredible potential...oh well...he had just arrived from a biscuit maker company.
