Cardero looks like a lottery ticket that you could probably trade in for what you paid for it. Didn't I see it was owned by the Tocqueville Fund people? They would not buy a dog with fleas I don't think. Otherwise no idea about mining stocks! In a way it is safer than Vivendi (in another obvious way not) because Vivendi's moat is difficult to estimate. Have you looked at the three or four other mining co.s that Cardero bought shares in?
