That's mostly because the guardians of the "politically correct" have declared that Islam is a "religion of peace." You are preaching to the choir...religion is a scourge on mankind...all religion. By the way, it was W who first called islam a religion of peace...a moment of misguided pragmatism I suppose. We can't judge extremists within that religion except in the context of how we forced their hand. You are oversimplifying as usual...by that rule we should be calling evil all christians just because a handful think that homosexuality is responsible for our soldiers being killed in battle...or we should be flying unmanned drones over their roofs.
