Many of them are not very political, they don't hold positions in the middle, but either don't hold positions on many of the issues, or don't hold positions that reasonably fit as something that would be called middle, even if they are different than both of the major parties. Are you just making stuff up again Tim? I swear I don't know where you get it sometimes ... when did you get to be an expert on "the middle"? The people I know in the middle are mostly moderates and yes they have opinions slightly left and/or right of center. They are not ignorant and yes they do care.
