Most likely the reason for the breather is the volume. Dell is not going up on real good volume, so some use this as a sign of potential weakening in the share price. Short term. That's why there are so many vultures just waiting. When the moneyflow goes negative, another sign short term, that its being sold into any strength.

It all passes and goes on about its business of rising in price.

I think since it has has been so volitile lately that profit taking has been the issue. This is one reason we dont want it to rise too fast and it wont be so attractive to the short term traders . They are having a field day right now.
