Thanks, but what happened later on was even funnier to me. Like I said, my friend Kiminobu and I were getting ready for a night dive but we had some time to burn and wanted to get something to eat. The north side of Okinawa is just small villages and neither one of us was familiar with where we were. I spy this old lady walking along and said, why don't you stop and ask that old lady if there was a good place to eat around... He stopped the car and went over to her. They were far enough away so I couldn't quite hear. But I could see Kiminobu and the old lady bowing profusely, the whole time she's chatting away and he's got this big grin saying hai, hai (yes).... Nobu makes one final bow after thanking her graciously and gets back in the car. I asked him, ok, where are we going. He says, I don't know, I don't speak Hogan...lol
