Nextel making BIG inroads into the community of professional traders.
Here in Chicago we have more and more examples of professional IS and trading types getting onboard with Nextel units. The CBOE IS division has over 40 phones. Professional market makers and others are quickly discovering the benefits and signing on. The Chicago Stock Exchange has been a user in their security area and soon their IS area will be replacing their paging/cellphone/voicemail services with Nextel. I would not be surprised if the CME, CBOT and others have similar developments underway.

Bottom line: Nextel's product sells itself.

Personally, I am working on building a specialized "trading network" us Nextel users across the country to interface directly with dealers and traders in underlying stocks.

"Nextel Business Networks" of all shapes and sizes will be exploding over the next year. It's exciting to see Nextel react to the opportunity with the kind of vision and energy that's typical of a winning company with a winning product.

In addition to the PITC conversion coming soon, I have recently been a buyer of more Nextel in this area. I think we are ready to break out of the mid-20's and begin to retest the highs once again.

Good luck.

Arnie..
I looks like the market in general is running out of gas..
Nextel looks like its walking the plank..Will it spring up to new highs.. or dive into the deep blue ocean.. Well only kidding.. anyway boring markets today...My Intel puts are doing well..That stock is in trouble...
Anyway today and tomorrow are change in trend days..For the market in general..A panic day if you will...I didn't see a panic today.<G> Well I will give them one more day...
