When will the USD be toast too?.. Seems like it has begun a long (or maybe not so long) and steady decline against these two..

Cantarell is sitting on a ledge at the moment after it's catastrophic 24 month decline. That field went from 1.24 mbpd to .521 mbpd as of February. A nearly 60% loss. Currently the field is "steady" at this level of 500 kbpd but given that its held up by plastic surgury one wonders when the next leg down comes.

We should also be aware that the Energy Ministry has rarely made a single accurate statement in the past two years. They publish the data of course, which is dire. But they talk as if they were speaking of some other oil producing nation, not themselves.

It's really sad that they kept talking about Chicontopec, as though it would save Mexico. It's producing something like 75 kbpd. Oy.

International data is just out. Non-OPEC is going flat again, and the only supplier increasing production now is Non-OPEC ex Saudi Arabia.
