There aren't many newspaper articles from the 1970s. There are some books which talk about it in retrospect, but for you that'd be hearsay. Apparently testimony of people who were there is hearsay also. Apparently articles written in the early 1980s is hearsay also.

So, what doesn't constitute hearsay?
