I think what we are seeing is a fairly 'normal' inventory rebound and a surge in raw commodity prices (anticipating a resumption of more normal levels of global economic growth from the post-crash depressed levels we have still), but little or none of that has 'leaked through' yet to the consumer price level. Most likely because the structural unemployment/under-employment levels are still near Depression levels (may be there for years) and consumer demand is still at the bottom of the cliff where it collapsed to....
