While I don't think the plane went down due to mechanical failure, I think it would have been the height of irony had that been the problem. Just sayin'. Exactly. A totally irrelevant point you're making there, ted. There was another point......but apparently it went sailing right over your head. If anything they should have invested in a pilot who could follow instructions. Au contraire, they needed a pilot who didn't follow instructions. I mean.....why do you think he tried four times to land the damn plan when the Russian controller kept telling him to try another airport? Oh wait.......I better give you another hint. The Polish president was a typical winger....demanding and demanding. He always wanted his own way. Sound familiar...it should.
