"Gandhi's quote is one we understand: 'First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, then you win.'" © Copyright 2010 The Washington Times, LLC "As a nation-spanning "Tea Party Express" caravan plans to pull into Washington for a "tax day" rally on Thursday, a Rasmussen poll finds that the number of people who say they're part of the tea party movement nationally has grown to 24 percent, up from 16 percent a month ago." It appears to this writer that this is a significant increase in a short time in numbers identifying with this grassroots movement. America is again at that critical point as it was when President Reagan began to run for office in 1980. Reagan's Fairfax County favorable percentage was at about 24% in the spring of 1980------by the time he was elected in the fall he was carrying 60 to 72% of most precincts. As Obama and Pelosi fail in his effort to control Americans----- this non-violent, grassroots Tea Party will grow quietly and slowly as it is now doing and as the grassroots movement to elect President Reagan grew. 24% now------34%----45%---50%---60% to the point that the supporters of Obama will join the tea party. That is what happened when Carter was President. The time is ripe for the same again. As Obama runs to Florida to get out of Washington as he did during the 9/12 gathering in D.C.------I find these words from the article appropriate.
