Don't be ridiculous. 9/11 was a "lucky hit". Z told us. How could they POSSIBLY be so "lucky" as to successfully attack an American subway station?


It was just competent Obama doing his job.

Its too bad Bush didn't take the 9/11 warnings seriously.

As if jobless claims wasn't enough, the report on Capacity Utilization shows only minor gains in March MoM. Normal non-recessionary Capacity Utilization figures are in the low 80's. Right now it is at 73.2%.

Consider this. The figure started the year at 72% and thus has climbed 1.2% so far this year. If we imagine this pace continues, it would take 7 quarters to get to 80%, i.e., the end of 2011. Until producers are at capacity they will choose to expand production rather than raise prices. No inflation on the horizon.
