Excellent choice, Lindy.

But Ryan will need a few more election cycles to really gain the public attention and the political maturity required for a successful run for the roses.

But if lightning does strike him this coming cycle, I could easily live with that after watching him successfullytake Obama's measure during the recent health care presidential fiasco.

I like Ryan but see him as a VP candidate. The GOP will not be able to bring themselves to promoting him for the top slot. The GOP is not known for being bold. Look at their recent choices, Bush, Dole, McCain, Bush, McCain.

Now, if they stop obama's immigration plan in its tracks; begin talking repeal of the health care measure and creating a plan which is smaller, more effective and fair, I will withdraw my comment.

Paul Ryan makes more sense than most any other Repub right now...no one wants to say that too loudly, as that would give the media and the Dems to do to him what they've done to Palin and her family.

And make that a Ditto for Mitch Daniels of IN....
