A perfect example of intentionally misleading statistics. The wealthiest Americans -- the top 10% of earners -- are paying 70% of the taxes while half pay nothing (and in many instances, receive welfare payments in the form of the refundable EITC).

That is fundamentally unfair, that half of Americans are living off the other half. I'm not sure which half you're in, but I'm in the half that has to pay the tab for others. And asking me to do that is, IMO, un-American.

I don't mind paying for the 10% (or whatever) who can't take care of themselves. But 50%, that's bullshit.
