I can see where the Dems feel this is a no-lose situation. But, I don't think they are factoring in the Republicans ability to lie and get the media to carry those lies without questioning them.


Very true. This whole process needs to be coordinated by the WH much like his campaign.

I think Obama is hip to the lying (R)'s, although I'm surprised that Mitch McConnell started lying right away! Ususally, they have some lower level guy lie, and Mitch would only have to not disavow what he said.

I think it's Obama's plan to equate (R)'s with the lying, scumbag banksters that took down our economy before November.
